The 2011 "Last One Standing" Challenge is an annual CrossFit competition designed

to showcase local, national and international CrossFitter talent. A single day of

competition testing mental fortitude, CrossFits' 10 GPP, aspects of functional human

movement, facing the unknown & Unknowable and being prepared to sweat, bleed and

grind for victory.

CrossFit's finest in Aussie will be on display with one team, one female & male athlete

emerging as the "Last one(s) standing". Who will it be...............

Scoring System

  • Team or individual with highest number of points at the end of the day will be the winner.
  • Team and Individual Category points will NOT be grouped together
  • (individuals who compete in a team AND singularly will not have their numbers from their team added to their individual scores)


 

Rules of the Day

 

Morning Registration

  • Turn up on time in the allotted time slot (0700 - 0800) to register.
  • If an athlete or team does not register on time without any given notice, then they will forfeit their spot and entry fee in the competition.

Competing

  • Athletes may compete in both the team category and individual category.
  • Athletes MAY NOT enter individually in different sub-categories (In english; athlete cannot enter in the Rxd category and the beginner category but may choose to be part of a team as well).

Judging

  • All Judges will be provided by CrossFit Aphesis
  • All Judging decisions will be final
  • All judges are trained and ready for competition
  • Each judge will have a sound understanding of the required ranges of motion for each exercise
  • Each judge will be clearly marked and identifiable

Team Competition Rules 

  • Teams MUST consist of 4 people in combinations of:
  • 2 males / 2 females
  • 1 male  / 3 females
  • 3 males / 1 female
  • Team names are permitted

  • WOD's will be announced on Tuesday the 1st of November 2011
  • 2 Individual WOD's (per sub-category "Rxd/Int./Beg.)
  • 1 Team WOD
