What to expect in each class: 

 


 

OLY* = An Olympic lifting Specific Class aimed at exposing newcomers,

CrossFitters and anyone who is interested in mastering the

Olympic Lifts. Aphesis Weightlifters will be training specifically

for meets and competitions at state and national levels.

An excellent opportunity to witness high level training and

coaching in action. Covering aspects of Competition

preparation, mentoring, coaching and skill development 

 

 

WOD =  "Workout of the Day"; what CrossFit is really about. Covering

a randomly generated Workout which will be coached,

demonstrated and recorded. Most classes will start with a

specific "Strength" component which will address key

weakness commonly found amongst CrossFitters, and the

normal person. The first component is an addition to the daily

WOD and can and will be "tweaked" at anytime to suit the

needs of the WOD. Strength sessions will be clearly marked

on the homepage with "1:7:wk1" indicating Strength session

no. 1 of 7 possible scenarios and wk1 indicating the level of

intensity OR load. 

 

 

 

KIDZ = "Kidz" "The future of Fitness"

is a class specifically designed for children and kidz

who are beginning their CrossFit journey. A big emphasis

will be made on skills and general adaptations. The class

will be entirely "CrossFit", not watered down crossfit,

just targeted towards a special population.

We will outline basics of nutrition

, training principles, gymnastics, lifting loads and most

importantly, fun and stimulating physical challenges!

  Get your kids active and healthy without boring them

to death.
